Mothers are able to provide food for their children

MOTHER_WITH_CHILD[1]
This mother is feeding her child an emergency therapeutic food called Plumpy’nut at a World Vision malnutrition clinic in Turkana, Kenya. Donations like the one you made have supplied starving children all across this region with this emergency support. This area, along with the rest of the Horn of Africa is experiencing the worst drought in more than 60 years putting thousands of children at risk of starvation, disease and death because of lack of basic resources.

Your donation has supported World Vision, a SeeYourImpact partner, in their efforts on the ground. In the Horn of Africa, World Vision has been helping people like this mother and her child survive, by supplying them with life saving food and water support, including special efforts to ensure children survive by supplementing their supplied diets with Plumpy’nut, a nutrient-enriched food solution. In addition to this, World Vision has provided many struggling families with shelters and medical support.

Thank you for your donation toward food support – it has helped save lives.
