Thirty-two-year-old Leah (green shirt) is a mother of four children from Kainuk in Turkana South, in northwestern Kenya, is a member of Rise and Shine Mothers Support group.

Leah has been attending World Visions trainings on best feeding practices, she exclusively breastfed her seven-month-old child Charity for six months and even though she continues to breastfeed her baby she is also feeding her on other nutritious foods like vegetables and fruits she harvests from the kitchen garden.

Twenty-eight-year-old Pauline (left, white shirt) is also a member of rise and shine mothers support group. Her child Valestine is now a year old and was severely malnourished in June; Valestine was admitted to World Visions therapeutic feeding programme for severely malnourished children. A slight improvement saw her being admitted to the supplementary feeding programme. Now her baby is healthy and she continues to feed her other healthy foods.

Thank you very much for your donation that allows World Vision to provide ongoing support for mothers like Leah and Pauline!
