Providing support to Magacley Village Health Clinic

Remote villages, like Magacley village, Puntland, Somalia, where this child lives, are difficult to reach and provide support for in disaster situations such as the current drought. However, World Vision makes it a point to be present in these very remote villages, where aid is severely needed. With support like yours, doctors and World Vision staff have been coming to this village, as well as others, once a week for the past six months, improving the health of these villagers. Malnutrition rates, once much higher, are down to 10-20% in this region, well below the national average.

With your support, World Vision, a SeeYourImpact partner, is hard at work on the ground providing much needed disaster relief. World Vision is providing services to this region like food and water support, including efforts to specifically ensure children survive by supplementing their supplied diets with Plumpy’nut, a nutrient-enriched food solution. In addition to this, World Vision has provided many struggling families with shelters and medical aid.
