Catherine and her family have food and water support

Catherine, 3, sits with her mother at home in Batei village, in Kenya’s north Rift Valley. This area, and much of the Horn of Africa, is struggling with the worst drought in 60 years. Families like Catherines’ face severe hunger, malnutrition, illness, and loss of cattle because of the lack of rain.

Your donation has supported World Vision, a SeeYourImpact partner, in their efforts on the ground. World Vision has been helping families like the Catherines’ survive, by supplying them with life saving food and water support, including special efforts to ensure children survive by supplementing their supplied diets with Plumpy’nut, a nutrient-enriched food solution. In addition to this, World Vision has provided many struggling families with shelters and medical support. These efforts have been extremely helpful to children like Catherine and their families.
